Notice there is no chocolate. It didn't last long enough for the photoshoot.

So I’ve been holding out on you guys recently. I was being selfish, and let me just say now that I’m sorry. I’ve discovered a new ice cream, and I love it so much, but I can only find it at Whole Foods. I have kept it a secret because I didn’t want everyone else running to Whole Foods and buying it out. I wanted to keep it all to myself.

I love making healthy meals taste like they’re really unhealthy. Maybe it’s a sickness derived from working around so much fitness all the time, but every once in a while it’s really nice to indulge, especially when I’m not actually indulging. Like having spaghetti squash with Alfredo sauce.

I have to admit, I’m not much of a zinnia fan—especially the short-stemmed, prissy-looking ones. Planted in one shade, cast off to the side as a border, I just don’t think they’re very pretty. And aren’t flowers supposed to be pretty? But a local farm proved my assumptions all wrong…

A little while back I got to attend the Holiday Gift Guide Show in New York, a media event where vendors can present their products for possible editorial coverage in various magazines. I was on the lookout for great products for gardeners, and I found a few winners.
